• the living room was recently remodeled as a Home Theater, which now features a 58" HD plasma TV with 7-channel Surround Sound, Blu Ray and DVD players, a HD Digital Cable tuner with DVR (offering over 20 premium channels), and over $8k worth of new furniture and artwork.
• phone usage: all calls are free for anywhere within the USA. If needed, I believe Time Warner also offers good deals on international calls. E.g.: if calling Germany, the cost is 9 cents per minute. However, they also offer an "International OnePrice" plan for $19.95 per/mo. that includes 1000 minutes of 'free' calling.
